These terms govern your use of brighthomecleanings.com and the cleaning services provided by BrightHome Cleaning Services LLC ("BrightHome," "we," "us"). By booking a service or using this website, you agree to them.

Services

We provide standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move in/out cleaning and recurring maid service to residential and light commercial properties in Greater Houston, Texas. The scope of each visit is what is confirmed in your quote. Anything not listed in that scope is not included.

Quotes and pricing

Booking and payment

Access to the property

You are responsible for providing safe access at the scheduled time, whether by being present, providing a key, code or lockbox. Access details you give us are held in confidence and used only to perform the service. If we cannot gain access, our cancellation policy applies.

Your responsibilities

What we do not do

Unless separately agreed in writing, our teams do not: handle biohazards, mold remediation, pest infestations, human or animal waste; move furniture or objects over [WEIGHT] lbs; use ladders above [HEIGHT] feet; clean exterior windows above ground floor; or handle items you have identified as irreplaceable.

Arrival windows

We schedule arrival windows rather than exact times, because the condition of a previous property can run a job long. Please allow an additional [NUMBER]-hour grace period either side of your window. Arriving outside the window does not entitle you to a credit or discount, but we will contact you if we are running materially late.

Waiting time

If our team arrives at the agreed time and cannot begin — because nobody is home, the code does not work, or the property is not ready — we will wait [NUMBER] minutes while attempting to reach you. Beyond that, a waiting fee of [$AMOUNT] per [NUMBER]-minute period applies, or the visit is treated as a late cancellation under our Refund Policy.

Preparing the home

We clean; we do not declutter. Clearing surfaces, floors and countertops before we arrive means the time you are paying for goes into cleaning rather than moving your belongings. If the home needs substantial tidying before cleaning can begin, we will either work around it or discuss additional time with you first — we will not quietly extend the visit and bill you for it.

Pets

We are happy to work in homes with pets. Please secure animals in a safe area during the visit, both for their comfort and our team's. Tell us at booking if you have pets so we can allow appropriate time. Homes with significant pet hair may require additional time, which we will discuss with you before applying any charge.

Utilities and property condition

Our quotes assume a property in ordinary condition with working electricity and running water. This matters most for move-in and move-out cleans: without utilities we cannot perform the service, and the visit will be treated as a late cancellation.

Where a property is substantially more soiled than described at quote stage, we will contact you before proceeding to agree either an adjusted price or a reduced scope. We will not carry out extra chargeable work without your agreement.

Photographs

Our teams may take limited before-and-after photographs of the areas being cleaned, used solely to record the condition on arrival, verify the work, and resolve any quality concern you raise.

Hiring our staff directly

We invest in recruiting, training, insuring and background-checking our cleaners. Please do not engage our employees or contractors for private work outside BrightHome, during your time as a client or for [NUMBER] months afterwards. If you would like to hire someone from our team, talk to us first — a placement fee of [$AMOUNT] applies, and we would rather agree it openly than discover it later.

Insurance, damage and liability

Our staff are insured and background-checked. Report any damage within 24 hours with photographs so we can investigate; see our Refund Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Cancellation

Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Communications

By providing your phone number you consent to receive calls and text messages about your quote and service. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. See our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY] County, Texas, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you book.
